1.12 Scheduling External Scan with RoboGuard
Introduction
RoboGuard is our continuous scan protection feature which completely automates regular attack surface scans, alert you with any changes and one of the biggest bonuses of this feature is its ability to schedule scans giving your computer a very secure routine.
How to schedule External Scan using RoboGuard
From the dashboard locate the drop down labelled “scanners” at the top of your screen
Once the drop down appears select “External scanner”
Once in the external scanner dashboard click on the RoboGuard tab
After clicking on the RoboGuard tab you need to click the add schedule button
The add schedule should take you to this pop up to fill out and on the pop up you can customise your scan with; Which IP you want scanned, Name of the schedule, how often you want the scan to run and what scans you want run on these devices (make sure to click tick the checkbox)
After customising your scan and clicking save your scan should now be set to run in accordance with your schedule, they will appear in the RoboGuard tab
How to schedule LAN scan using RoboGuard
From the dashboard locate the drop down labelled “scanners” at the top of your screen
Once the drop down appears select “LAN scanner”
Once in the LAN scanner dashboard click on the RoboGuard tab
After clicking on the RoboGuard tab you need to click the add schedule button
The add schedule should take you to this pop to fill out with; Your Device, Schedule Name, how often you want the scan run and how many ports you want scanned
After customising your scan and clicking save your scan should now be set to run in accordance with your schedule, they will appear in the RoboGuard tab
How to schedule a Domain Enumeration scan using RoboGuard
From the dashboard locate the drop down labelled “scanners” at the top of your screen
Once the drop down appears select “Device Enumeration”
Once in the Device Enumeration dashboard add a domain name (make sure it has no https:// or http://) click add the hostname and click scan
after doing that your entered domains should split into sub-domains for you to manage, to schedule a scan click on the blue RoboGuard button
After clicking the blue RoboGuard button a pop up should appear, on this pop up you can customise aspects of the scan you want to schedule like; IP or domain name, how often the scan will occur and what type of scans you want on the sub-domain (make sure to click tick the checkbox)
Deleting scan schedules
To delete a scan schedule all you have to do is select the checkbox to the right of the schedule and select the blue button on the top right that says delete, or the bin icon to the left of the schedule.
