1.7 Reinstalling the RoboShadow Agent

If reinstalling the RoboShadow Agent from a previous installation which has not been clean uninstalled. The following steps will remove the previous device ID from the registry and the PublicKey file.

1. In the registry; navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\RoboShadowLtd\Rubicon\Control

   1. Delete the registry value for the DeviceId.

2. In Windows Explorer; delete the public key file at this folder location: C:\ProgramData\RoboShadow\Rubicon\Control\Data\.

3. Install the RoboShadow Agent https://portal.roboshadow.com/downloads

Note: If the agent has already been reinstalled before deleting the DeviceId and PublicKey file, follow steps 1 and 2, then restart the RoboShadowAgent Windows service.
